STREAMLINE FLIGHT PERMIT ADMINISTRATION AND APPROVAL PROCESS ONLINE
Generally National aviation authority in the state in which the aircraft is registered, issued a Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) for an aircraft. Apart from that all scheduled / non-scheduled flights into, from or over the territory of any country (FIR -Flight Information Region) need to obtain a flight clearance permit at least 72 hours prior to date of intended flight.
The cost recovery for the service provision for flight clearance is solely for the administrative cost incurred and not for the permit itself for that reason charges are not refundable. Not refundable because the administrative Service provided for both acceptance or refusal of permit is the same.
Normally all scheduled airlines have their local agent in every country to manage the permit requests, who apply, pay and obtain permit on behalf of direct airline. So in that case permit requests can be initiate either by direct airline or by local agent operator.
